Fort Wayne Snider | 2027 StateIN
has steadily established herself as one of the more productive shooting guards in the state. The Fort Wayne Snider standout brings scoring ability, confidence, and a competitive edge that makes her a difficult matchup for opposing defenses.
Eke’s shooting ability immediately stands out. She has the capability to knock down perimeter shots, create spacing for teammates, and punish defenses that leave her open. Beyond her shooting, she continues to improve as an all-around offensive player, showing the ability to attack closeouts and make plays off the dribble.
Heading into June, Eke will be expected to take on a significant offensive role for Snider. Her ability to score consistently against quality competition could be one of the biggest factors in the Panthers’ summer success. College programs looking for a guard who can stretch the floor should continue monitoring her progress closely.
Isabelle was extremely active Sunday, and she at times looked like a seasoned veteran around the younger prospects. She has an athletic frame with some length and strength. She has worked to become much more effective creating off the bounce, whether she’s getting to the basket or finding open teammates. She looked like she was playing more of a point forward position than anything, which could definitely help her recruiting, as long as she remains efficient and productive doing so. She’s an active and aggressive rebounder, plus she can defend multiple positions, including undersized “bigs”.
Isabelle followed in her sister’s footsteps at Fort Wayne’s Bishop Dwenger High School. Now, as a Junior, she’ll be competing with the Snider Panthers and their nucleus of elite young talent. Izzy brings her own athletic talent, good size, and the ability to play at all three levels. She can play around the paint with her size, rebound, and defend, but she also has some ball skill, the ability to make plays around the perimeter and in the mid-post, and she has improved her touch from outside, helping to keep defenses honest.
Isabelle put herself on our radar last Fall at our Freshman Showcase, and she was back this year, a couple of inches taller, stronger, more athletic, and more skillful. She has turned herself into a really nice wing/forward prospect who can do a variety of things on the court. She has the size to play in the mid-post, defend the interior, and rebound effectively. At the same time, she is a talented athlete, she has the ability to put the ball on the floor and create, plus she can sit down and defend. As her perimeter jumper becomes more consistent, watch out!
