Expert Analysis
Brandon Bradley | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
McKenzie has been playing in the high school age divisions of grassroots basketball for a couple of years now, so she has already built a following. She has a big, strong frame, broad shoulders, and some length as well. She possesses soft hands, nice touch around the rim, and she keeps the ball out of the reach of defenders. Additionally, she has always worked on her game facing the basket, so while she’ll never be a wing, she can knock down an open rhythm jumper. Defensively, she is a space-eater and a bit of a “bully”, meaning she likes to seek contact early in possessions to gain an advantage.

McKenzie White McKenzie White 6'1" | C Fort Wayne Snider | 2029 State IN gives the Class of 2029 a strong interior presence with her size, physicality, and ability to impact the paint. The Fort Wayne center plays with toughness and embraces doing the dirty work that helps teams win games.
White is effective around the basket where she can finish through contact and establish position inside. She rebounds at a high level on both ends of the floor and creates second-chance opportunities with her activity. Defensively, she protects the rim well and alters shots with her length and positioning.
What makes White especially valuable is her motor and willingness to compete every possession. She brings energy defensively, runs the floor hard, and continues to improve her offensive skill set. As her footwork and face-up game continue to develop, she could become one of the more impactful post players in the state.

back on the floor for Fort Wayne Snider. Although she is a freshman, White played with the poise and confidence of a veteran, making an immediate impact. She dominated the boards, scored efficiently in the paint, and used her size and skill to control the interior. White also demonstrated impressive floor awareness, running the court effectively to get into scoring position while contributing on defense.
With both Cooper and White on the floor and a fully healthy Snider roster, the team has the talent and depth to make a deep run in the state tournament. White’s combination of size, skill, and basketball IQ makes her an exciting player to watch this season and a key piece of Snider’s success moving forward.
