The energy and effort are never to be questioned with Hodge. She’s a player that will leave it all on the floor. Iyanna is flying around until the whistle blows. She’s a player with a deceptive appearance that has a fierce mentality and is a remarkable competitor. She has amazing speed that allows her to beat defenders to the spot. Not only does she have the tenacity needed to go to war in the trenches, but she’s also a playmaker that comes through in crucial times. It doesn’t matter if it’s on the offensive side of the ball or defensively, Hodge will leave her mark on the floor. The hustle she shows on defense allows her to chase players down or get over screens quickly. Iyanna has that essential footspeed needed to hound point guards up the floor. Regularly she’ll sacrifice her body, take a charge or tie the loose balls up. Hodge is a vital piece to defensive schemes and super capable of maintaining scoring guards due to her powers of opening up her hips while still remaining attached and engaged.
