About Jada

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My basketball style is highly strategic. While scoring is important, I focus on my overall impact on the game. Putting up points can be easy at times, but creating opportunities for my teammates and helping them succeed is just as important to me. As I continue to grow in the game, I strive to be mentally and physically tough so I can overcome any challenge in the moment.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

As a strong competitor, I am constantly learning how to be tough and physical during competition while staying true to my faith and values. Although I know losing is part of sports, it motivates me to evaluate my performance after every game and focus on improving. Off the court, I enjoy singing, hanging with friends and family, and I take pride in balancing athletics, academics, and having fun.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Apart from my passion for sports, I attend church regularly and actively participate in the teen ministry. My family instilled in me the importance of giving back to the community, which is why I have volunteered many hours at community events. In 2025, I was honored to be a finalist in the IESA Scholar Attitude Award, recognizing my commitment to academics and sportsmanship.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Despite being one of the youngest players, I have embraced the challenges of leadership. Leading older teammates has been a learning curve, but I have risen to the occasion by motivating, guiding and supporting the team to perform at their best. Pushing myself and my teammates to achieve a high level of performance.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

The biggest challenge this season is mental toughness. Our team is young and our opponents know it. We are constantly challenged physically, but it develops us mentally. I understand that this is going to make us tougher, but the bumps and bruises that are associated is the most challenging part.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am seeking a college program that will fully embrace me, challenge me, and help me grow both on and off the court. I want to be part of a winning culture that celebrates success while remaining patient and committed to teaching and development.
