really stood out at the tournament, especially with her ability to drive the ball and score in the midrange area. Her efficient three point shooting was also impressive. Toombs showed good handles, ran the offense well and made good passes to teammates.

The 5-7 point guard has all the tools to be a complete basketball player. Toombs is quick, shifty and aggressive when the basketball is in her hands as she uses her strength and speed to her advantage. Last season for Fort Myers, Toombs averaged 13.6 points, 1.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 3.4 steals per game while shooting 38 percent from the field. Toombs is also at her best when scoring off the dribble and creating her own shot.

Toombs is always a favorite of mine to watch. She is quick, aggressive, had shifty moves, and good handle. Fort Myers has traditionally been the top team in the Southwest part of Florida and Toombs did her best all season to keep it that way averaging 13.6 points, 4.5 assists, and close to 3.5 steals per game while leading Fort Myers to a 19-7 record. Toombs play really stood out at the Tampa Bay Invitational when her squad took on tough out of state opponents and Toombs slashed from the top of the key and in transition off the bounce, fearlessly attacking the rim and getting into the paint to score or create shots for her teammates. She has explosive bounce and elite athleticism.
