The potential for All-American Status was seen from Jadyn in middle school. She was gifted with incredible athleticism. Her decision to attend Sidwell Friends wasn’t a pile on as the Quakers didn’t have the national recognition at the time but it was the right business move. Ripping defenders up on the EYBL circuit put her on the fast track to national recognition. She has held the top spot since the rankings were first published five years ago and never looked back.

Every play that Jadyn made seemed like it should be a Sportscenter Top 10. She has the high flying theatrics down to a science and is looking to make the alley-oop a common play in the women’s game. She finished with 12 points and 8 boards and a spectacular block of the 6’7 Lety Vasconcelos wide open layup holding her scoreless for the game.

Her arial theatrics were very impressive. As much as we were entertained at seeing her fly across the lane, her skill set in shooting the ball and driving in transition was just as impressive. Defensively she gave fits to McNamara and sent one shot flying 30 feet into the backcourt for a fast break after her rejection which led to a stare down and technical.

Jadyn was absolutely phenomenal each time that she stepped on the floor. Between the arial theatrics, her long range shooting and her acrobatic finishes, I’m not sure what impressed the most. She showed a complete array of skills each time down the floor and looked primed to step in at Duke and make an impact on day 1.
