Marissa has a nice mid-range game that allows her to do different things and display a variety of skills. She can shoot the pull up jumper, floater or head fake and get to the rim in one dribble from the high post area. She is extremely agile and moves well on the court that allows her to defend and rebound at a high level. She has also showed she can block shots on defense averaging almost two per game.

did a nice job cutting down to the block, getting the pass, and scoring off the glass. She can go to work with her back to the basket using power dribbles and drop steps to get into position to score her points. She took matters into her own hands attacking the basket creating some space and hitting the bucket for two. It seemed to be a blocking highlight reel on defense as she protected the basket in the paint.

The team’s leading scorer and shot blocker at 11 points and 1.5 blocked shots per game. Marissa has a nice stroke shooting over 40% FG. She has nice length that allows her to do different things on the court. One of her biggest strengths is getting to the basket by slashing, pulling up with a jumper or using a nice floater.

was moving quickly on defense making sure her opponent didn’t have an easy path to the basket or that her opponents had an easy pass to each other. She attacked the basket well driving hard to the hoop. Her close out was quick blocking shots with ease.

Mitchell dominates the glass for her squad in any game. She attacks the offensive glass and creates quick points for her team. Mitchell also plays strong on the defensive glass. She holds her own and is willing to play physical. Mitchell is a hustle player who is willing to dive on the floor or take charges on defense. Mitchell has great quickness on the court. She is often the first to the basketball because of her anticipation skills and speed. Mitchell is also skilled and she can score in the paint or stretch it out to three. She is a special player ready for an exceptional season on the court.

Marissa Mitchell was making some tough takes to the basket showing off some spin moves to get the open look and taking advantage of some free throws after getting fouled. She did a nice job pushing the tempo grabbing the rebound and making a fast break come alive with her hustle on the dribble and nice bounce pass to her teammate. When running some in-bounds plays, she’s patient letting the play develop and finding her open teammate. She ran a pass, relocate, catch, and shoot play so well making it swish from around the arc.
