Another extremely dominant post prospect, that showed out at a high rate this weekend was Jehsa Opoku-Athena of the Missouri Phenom . Jehsa is an individual that has an experienced and seasoned Post game. She is physical, she knows her spacing and balance to a T, and she is someone that understands her role within her program. To start off the weekend, I saw her compete on Saturday morning and she made everything look so easy. She was killing her opponents with a nasty drop step, she was cutting to the open space near the hoop in transition, and she was doing her work early on in a possession coming down the floor. There were not many other players that stood out like Jehsa did over these past few days. Each game she showed that she was the most dominant big on the floor and it wasn’t even close. If she continues to expand her game and be herself, this sport is going to take her places. There is no doubt about that.
