Lapsley quietly had another steady, solid performance at the helm for the Lady Wolves. Lapsley does an excellent job getting the ball where it needs to go and fast, which is vital to the uptempo, all out, relentless blitz that that Buford imposes on opposing teams every single possession. They get the ball up to the basket quick, which requires a lot mentally and physical from the point guard. Jelyza calm and effectively gets this done every game. She can score when needed as well, knocking down a three point shot and scoring in transition in the game on Saturday as well. Lapsley’s play will be critical to Buford’s success in the postseason.

Jelyza is an extremely quick, fast, and active prospect. Of the girls on this list, she is the “blurriest” of them all, as she changes directions immediately and is always playing at a high speed. I really like her defensively, because she can pressure the ball full-court, switch to other opponents in a moment, and get her hands on passes. Offensively, she will need to learn how to use her speed and change gears from time to time, but she can get into the paint just about any time she wants and put pressure on the opposing defense.
