As the 2023-2024 season reaches the final month of the regular season, conference seasons will wind down, and teams will begin preparing for their 2024 state tournament run in February. After expanding the 2026 rankings list to a Top-75 and a watch list of another 75 prospects, we are now at 150 total 2026 prospects listed on Prep Girls Hoops Indiana. At this time, I wanted to highlight all of the point guards in the class who we currently have listed, as well as point out some newcomers and those who have raised their stock since the beginning of the season.

WINTER NEWCOMERS:

Avon | 2026

, 2026, 5-3 PG, Avon H.S.
– Avon’s roster is full of smaller guards, and they can all play and contribute in some capacity. Makaylee has seen a lot of opportunity come her way this year, and she has made the most of it. She has nice length at her height, wiry strength, and she’s an athlete. She is averaging 8.9 points per game and can score it at all three levels.

WINTER STOCK-RISERS:

, 2026, 5-5 PG, Hamilton Southeastern H.S.
– I first saw Antonette a couple of Summers ago, and I’ve always enjoyed her energy, effort, and toughness. She is a physical guard with speed and quickness, she takes contact well, and she has a strong, athletic frame. She still needs to clean up some of the unnecessary turnovers, but she is a creator and an attacker, and she can make some plays other girls just can’t. In a supporting role off the bench, she’s managing 2.1 assists per game for the 15-1 Royals.

, 2026, 5-4 PG, Elkhart H.S.
– Jordynn is another strong/powerful, compact, physical, and aggressive guard in 2026. She gets defenders off-balance with a quick first step, then turns the corner and handles contact very well. She can finish in among the “trees” in a variety of ways, but she also has touch from the perimeter. Additionally, she is an effortful defender, and she’s a willing facilitator, who at times almost becomes too unselfish specifically trying to find open teammates.

, 2026, 5-8 PG, Faith Christian H.S.
– Holding multiple Division-I offers, Maya has obviously been on people’s radars for some time now, but she continues to improve and show maturity. She is shooting a little better percentage from the field and a lot better from the free throw line this season, not to mention she’s already attempted 4 more free throws in 9 fewer games, meaning the strength is likely kicking in, along with added confidence. She is an explosive scorer, a willing passer, and a tough defender.
Paiton Mitchell

, 2026, 5-6 PG, Castle H.S.
– Paiton saw Varsity minutes a season ago, and she’s in an even bigger role this year. She has always been tough-nosed, feisty, and extremely active and energetic. She is an emotional leader, and she tends to bring her teammates up to her level. At the same time, she is a good ball-handler, a solid perimeter shooter, and she sees the floor very well. She has a lot of tools offensively, and defensively she is an effortful, around-the-action ballplayer.
