. My favorite part of her game is how passionate she is. She wears her emotions on her sleeve and plays the game with a tenacity every coach loves. She is quick and direct in getting to the rim and has the ball on a string. Against Saint Gertrude, Williams hit a monumental three with about 2 minutes left to put VA academy up by 2. She hit a stepback over a defender with no hesitation. That shot spoke volumes about her supreme skill and confidence in her abilities. That mentality is huge, and it will take her places.

Joi Williams showed her range shooting the ball. She knew when to take the ball to the hoop or show off her pull up jumper. She was making three pointers no matter who was in her face. She did a nice job jumping into passing lanes grabbing steals to push the other direction. Her ability to shoot from deep off of set plays definitely helped her team close the gap in the fourth quarter.

She was all over the place first taking over the game on the defensive end with her on-ball pressure. She set the tone with multiple steals and was just as effective on the offensive end draining three the pull-up was there as well, I saw elite play from Joi that is a D1 talent!
