Kadie is a big reason that Valley City found itself back in the 2026 state tournament, where they ultimately repeated as State Champions.  Valley was down 14 points to Wahpeton heading into the fourth quarter of their Region 1 State Qualifying game.  The Hi-Liners came out in a full-court zone press with Kadie up top which helped them get right back into the game.  Her length and defensive pressure really bothered Wahpeton and forced a bunch of turnovers.  She converted on multiple layups and dump-off passes to her teammates.  She displayed great senior leadership and showed off her athletic ability.
