Possibly the poster child for this category, Ellison is a rising junior who impacts the game in so many ways. She’s a scrappy defender. Has quick hands for steals and blocks, with a tenacity to match. She mixes it up all over the court. Then along with doing the little things, Ellison will also score efficiently by hitting open threes and making shots at the rim. After missing her sophomore season with a major injury, Ellison looks fully recovered and ready to go. She’s an ideal fit as defensive focused off the ball guard for a feisty Timberwolf team. As she’s capable of making an impact beyond the box score.
