Kayden is another “big”, like Sellers and Ojeme, who has drawn rave reviews from basketball people who have watched her play with Wood Elite . Like Akudo and Elle, Kayden has natural gifts that you can’t coach or train with players. At over six feet tall and with the fluidity and grace she moves with, it is hard not to notice Kayden on the court. She is a kid whose best basketball is way ahead of her and with continued work on offensive skill develop could find herself higher on the list in a year’s time. She possesses the skills and ability to impact the game defensively blocking and altering shots, as well as dominating the glass on both ends. There is a lot of potential for growth for Kayden and college offers will follow no doubt.

It was a good weekend of work for Kayden Rush which tipped off on Saturday morning with a 56-52 win over Redline Elite. Rush took full advantage of the undersized opposition and relentlessly crashed the glass. Kayden carved out space before using her springy length to pluck rebounds at their highest point. Physically speaking, it comes as no surprise that Rush is a top-notch rebounder. She has long arms, broad shoulders and is agile and active. Putting Rush in a college weight room could unlock her upside as her best ball is down the road as she gets even stronger. I suspect that as her frame fills with muscle, she will become better and better at scoring through contact. The rebounding machine tallied 5 points, 14 rebounds, 3 steals and 1 block in the win. Collecting double digit rebounds was commonplace for Kayden at Peach Games.
