About Keniya

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my gameplay as smart, making plays and decisions that will give my team the best opportunity to score. On defensive I’m aggressive, always looking for a steal or a chance to turn the ball over.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Leadership is one of my best qualities. I look to motivate and pull the best out of my team because the game is not won with just one person.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

The biggest challenge I’ve faced was believing in my own abilities. The confidence I have on the court now started with doubt, but I stayed in the gym and I put in work everyday. I made that a habit. I never gave up. Now all of the hours I spend in the gym is reflected in my game.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that will help me grow my game and push me past my limits in the next level of basketball. Im looking for a family environment where we all hold each other accountable.
