Kennedy was impressive against IGB 17U GUAA in a game packed with college coaches. She showed toughness fighting through screens and was assertive on the offensive end. She came out strong in the second half, as her jumper started falling, knocking down three pull-up jumpers in a row and showcasing an elite mid-range game.
Kennedy is incredibly quick and shifty and uses her burst and change of pace to consistently create advantages. She’s a crafty finisher at the rim and has the ability to score over bigger players with touch and creativity. Her passing stands out as elite, especially in transition where she delivers with great feel and using precise angles when delivering the rock. Kennedy does a great job turning defense into offense by creating opportunities through deflections and steals. The motor is nonstop, and she plays with an infectious passion that makes her a fun player to watch. As a lead guard and focal point for opposing defenses, Kennedy embraces the pressure and still finds ways to impact the game at a high level.
She is the top player in Kentucky, and for good reason. Athletic, agile and facilitates the offense well. Great court vision, can thread the needle and find the great shot. She can also score from anywhere. Big-time player ready for a big-time summer. She’s heading to the university of Cincinnati.
Kennedy produced an elite season at the point guard position and is expected to make an even bigger scoring jump this year. She hit 47 threes at an incredible 43.5 percent, shot 87.4 percent from the free throw line, and led GRC with 12 points per game. GRC went undefeated in district play, undefeated in region play, and then nearly won the state championship against Sacred Heart. With Kennedy leading the way, GRC is again a serious contender for a state championship run!
Kennedy has been one of the top players in Kentucky for a couple of years now and her performance on Sunday helped solidify that status. Stamper has the ability to score at a high level or can sit back and create more offense for teammates. Kennedy is a big time competitor and should be one of the best players in the 10th region this year.
Stamper continues to be one of my very favorite players in the state to watch. She’s both quick and fast with a good handle and the ability to take and make tough shots. On Sunday, Kennedy did get a little bit frustrated on Sunday afternoon in 5 on 5 play when the ball didn’t move for a few possessions but she reacted by becoming the top notch facilitator that earned her a commitment to Cincinnati recently.
Stamper simply does not shy away from any challenge! She’s a play maker and nuisance defender all game! Phenomenal passer that loves a fast moving game. She makes the offense click! And she’s a scoring machine! (Below stealing the ball, in black uniform)

showed great poise, leadership, and looked like the best player on the floor. She started strong with a dribble pull-up and followed it up with a pretty scoop layup, showing her craftiness around the rim. She made the most of her trips to the free-throw line and displayed tremendous court-vision, consistently finding her teammates with smart passes. Kennedy was nearly impossible to stop off the dribble, using her elite body control to finish at the rim. Just before halftime, she got people out of their seats with a slick ball fake into a layup, then came up clutch in the fourth quarter with a tough pull-up jumper from the elbow. (Featured Image)
