Small may have given up four inches to Terrell McCoy and faced a significant disadvantage in both size and strength, but that didn’t stop her from competing. Small denied the entry pass and then stepped in to take charge after McCoy established position, showcasing her toughness, instincts, and willingness to battle. Her competitive nature stood out in that moment and helped her make a name for herself. Her athleticism is off the charts, and she will be one of the top young players to watch on the First Coast.
