Givens has been on our scouts’ radar for a number of years now, which is no surprise given the combination of skill, athleticism, and basketball IQ she possesses. The 5’7 freshman excels as a primary ball handler and playmaker, largely due to her court vision, innate abilities as a passer, and craftiness with the ball. Kimora has put tons of work into forging her overall skillset, but the work truly shines in her scoring touch and tight set of handles. Givens saw limited floor time for Minnehaha Academy the last two seasons, but following the graduation of new Maryland standout Addi Mack, she will likely have a much larger role to play in her 9th-grade season.
