She averaged 6 points per game last winter on a deep Minnehaha Academy squad and had 59 steals – a reflection of her quickness and defensive instincts. A three-point threat who can also attack downhill, Gigi has the confidence to heat up in a hurry and make opponents pay if they sag off her. Backing up her reputation as a tenacious defender, Coleman was named to the AAU Hard Hat All-Star Team in August. She also made the AAU State All-Tournament Team in May. Quick-footed, edgy, and relentless, Coleman thrives on guarding elite opponents.

+14 – Gigi had a great summer in 2024 with Metro Stars . At the PGH Sophomore ID Camp in the fall she made a statement. Then at the MLK Day tournament at St. Kate’s the crafty guard put on a defensive display that made everyone in the gym sit up and take notice. Coleman clearly relished the opportunity to guard Lanelle Wright Lanelle Wright 5'8" | PG Minnetonka | 2026 State #108 Nation MN of Minnetonka, one of the best pure point guards in the state, and she turned in a stellar performance. We know Coleman can get downhill, knock down shots from distance, and score buckets, but it is her defense that earned Gigi a rise of 14 positions.
