West Linn 6-foot forward Kinley Buse Kinley Buse 6'0" | SF/SG West Linn | 2028 State OR debuts at No. 12 in Oregon’s class of 2028 rankings. The youngest and tallest Buse sister has a great understanding of the game and is learning to use her length and physicality inside and out on both ends. She contests in the paint and rebounds. She can drive to the rim from the perimeter and net a quick putback after winning the offensive board.

In her freshman season at West Linn, Buse put in good minutes off the bench for a Lions squad that shared the Three Rivers League title with eventual state champions Tualatin, and persevered to win the consolation bracket to earn fourth place at the 6A state tournament. In the state quarterfinal loss against Jefferson, Buse scored 9 points on 2-of-4 from the field and 5-of-5 from the free-throw line, grabbed 6 rebounds, including 3 on the offensive board, and was a plus-4 player in 19 minutes of playing time.

Over the summer, Buse ran with Northwest Select in the 16U Division Select 40 circuit. Early this fall, the sophomore showcased her improving body control and developing ability to drive, slash, and finish through contact against competitive upperclassmen. Buse should have the opportunity to play on the 6A state tournament stage again this upcoming season. She has the potential to become a true versatile forward/guard and top-ten player in Oregon’s class of 2028.
