About Kymora
Expert Analysis
Neam Baattai | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Kymora struggled in the first half for her standards. She had only 12 points, and her not being at her best was why STAB was down at the half. But in the second half, she kept her team in the game, hitting a couple of 3s and playing extremely hard. She kept her team in it and was their best offensive player.

I truthfully am running out of words to describe how good

is. Kymora has been spectacular all year, but this might have been her best performance. She finished with 43 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 steals and was an absolute killer all game. Whenever Bishop Ireton made a run, Kymora hit a big shot or got to the line for an and 1. She was 14/25 from the field, 3/5 from three, and 12/15 from the FT line. She was spectacular, and Bishop Ireton had no answer for her.

St. Anne’s-Belfield is the number 1 seed in this tournament, but they had a tough time dealing with Potomac School.

had 32 points, and STAB needed every one of them. She was her usual efficient self making 12/22 from the field and 3/6 beyond the arc. She also had 10 rebounds, 5 assists, and 6 steals in an excellent all-around game—another big performance in a big game for a big-time talent.

had a complete basketball game against Collegiate on Tuesday with 21 points, 4 assists, 9 rebounds, and a spectacular 7 steals in a nearly 40-point win. Against Saint Gertrude, Kymora had a terrific offensive night. She had 33 points, 8 assists, and 10 rebounds in a 28-point victory. She was a sniper from 3 and controlled the game. Everything came easy to her—another stellar week from an exceptional talent.

as a top performer; she is the best player on arguably the best team in the state and is most likely the best player this year. She had a masterful game against Saint Gertrude, putting in 27 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists on an efficient 53% from the field. She also led her team to a massive win over a great Catholic Crusaders team.

can catch and shoot if need be, but what makes her unique is her ability to create her shot. She creates her shot from range and does it super efficiently. She’s made 45 threes at a staggering 47% clip. That is a remarkable number, especially from someone who demands as much attention as she does. She also shoots 88% from the line, and if that were two percentage points up, she’d have shooting splits of 60/40/90.

No change at number one! Kymora did nothing but end her AAU season in style! In the 8th grade she was able to capture an Adidas title. This year she one up that an added a GUAA Under Armor crown to her resume! She took down two FBC teams along the way. First in the final four with a volley ball line three point shot to win the game at the buzzer! Then the following game she played the roll of David and took down Goliath arguably the best girls AAU team in the country FBC United in a 4 overtime classic!

Kymora has the full package that you would expect a nationally ranked point guard to have, but it’s her jumper for me. Her speed and ball handling put defenders on skates, and then she just launches a long bomb from anywhere on the court and usually drains it. She demoralizes defenders because her step back mid-range is just as dangerous as her three- ball, and she can get to the rim and finish as well. She is one fun player to watch.
