Laney will be on watch for a breakout season with Orchard Lake St. Mary’s this winter. She gives the squad versatility and length at the guard spot. Laney has a smooth stroke from beyond the arc; she dropped threes in the bucket at Northwood Team Camp. Laney made smart cuts to the basket and finished layups off two feet. She made confident skip passes to open teammates with both hands and grabbed steals on the defensive end. Laney got by her defender with a quick dribble and kissed a floater off the glass over the help defender.

Larsen will be a must see prospect, really from here on out. She’s one of those people that was just meant to be a high level athlete. Larsen works hard off the court and it puts her in terrific game shape. She could log HEAVY minutes if needed. Larsen was an Honorable Mention All-State player as a freshman and I imagine she’ll only go up from here.
