One of the top point guards in the state, Lauren Buchanan Lauren Buchanan 5'8" | PG Forest Grove | 2024 State OR is a huge reason why Forest Grove is currently 12-0 and #4 in the state. The ball-savvy Buchanan is a natural point guard who is constantly finding her teammates all over the floor, yet Buchanan is more than capable of making whatever play her team needs, from knocking down her beautiful outside shot to diving on the floor and coming up with a huge steal, she averages in double-digit scoring while nearing double-digits in assists and rebounds most nights. She also earned individual honors at the West Coast Jamboree a week ago where the Vikings won a championship, with 12 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals; 17 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals; and 32 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal in their three games. Buchanan has yet to commit for next season.
