Lauren is a wonderful 2-way off-ball guard that can play a few positions to a high degree. What stands out is her ability to bring a certain level of energy to the game. No matter where Fitzgerald may be, she has a tendency to make a play that gets her squad going. It doesn’t matter whether that’s a timely defensive play or her getting the momentum going with some transition points, teammates seem to feed off Lauren’s vigor. Her ability to make impact plays is what has her ranked as the #18 player. Lauren goes up against some of the best talent in the region on a daily basis and holds her own, this has significant weight.

Laren Fitzgerald (2026) | 5’11 Wing | Tabor
Lauren’s physical tools, as well as the versatility provided was extremely valuable. She really stood out in this game due to the length and agility provided in various roles. Fitzgerald’s energetic effectiveness was one of the motives for the team pouncing to the considerable lead. The defensive mechanics were prominent and the smothering defense she’s known for was substantiated. Lauren was no slouch on offense either. She was able to contribute at critical points to help widen the gap.

Lauren Fitgerald (2026) | 6’0 SG | Bishop Feehan
Lauren plays on a stacked Tabor team that has a plethora of talented wings. She certainly brings an unreplaceable spark for the Gators. Even though Fitzgerald isn’t logging as many minutes as some of the higher usage players, she’s still one of the best floor spacers in the class. The physical tools she brings plus her shooting skills allows her to be such a highly ranked prospect. Fitzgerald has showed to have tons of potential and upside on the wing. She can also fill different roles at other positions. Throughout AAU she’s had many commanding games as well as showing dazzling flashes at Tabor in her career. Fitzgerald attacks closeouts with athletic resilient finishes and knocks down steady jumpers without second thought. She is quite the factor on the floor. Lauren is the #2 ranked shooting guard in the class.

Lauren is a stretch guard. She has a versatile skill set, and good size and length for the position. In the showcases she showed how she can attack defenders off the dribble, and go down hill. She also showed how she spaces the floor, and can be a threat from three point range. On defense I liked how she was able to stop the ball in transition. Lauren has a lot of potential with her game.
