If there was a wish we had for the next 12 months it is that as many college coaches as possible could see Province play. She doesn’t ever need to come out of a game with Elite conditioning and plays relentless basketball on both ends of the floor. In a historic season for Kearney where they advanced to the Class A semifinals, Province averaged 11.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 3.1 steals per game. Province can play both guard positions and is usually at her best attacking the lane with the ball in her hands. She had great finishing ability and is just as lethal on the defensive end of the floor.

Province is an elite athlete that thrives in the fast tempo and hectic nature of the way Kearney plays. Marian had a difficult time keeping her out of the paint early in the game and had to go to more zone and junk defenses to slow down Province. Finished with the championship game with 14 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals. Her energy and ability to play the whole game without coming off the floor should get her to the front of college radars.

Province is a gritty competitor and one of the leaders of Kearney’s undefeated season in Class A so far, as the Bearcats moved to a 12-0 with a 59-46 win over Gothenburg in the Saturday nightcap. An elite defender, Province is always in the mix on the defensive end. She is averaging nearly 13 points per contest to go along with four rebounds, three assists and four steals. On Saturday, she scored 20 points on just 12 shots from the field while added six rebounds, three assists and four steals. She could be a high riser this spring in the 2027 class.

is a glue-type player, that is a multi-sport athlete in her off time. She is a prospect that seems to keep everyone together and in the correct mindset, no matter what sport she is playing and I can’t wait to see that first hand over these next few months. Province is a go-getter, a hard worker, and a heck of a teammate. When things aren’t going her way, instead of getting upset and pouting, she adapts and keeps everyone locked in. This is going to be needed if this group wants to have an AAU season to remember and compete for a national title by the end of the Summer.
