Lilly, a senior guard for Portland, is the type of player who fills up the box score in a hurry. She impacts the game in multiple areas, whether it’s knocking down shots from well beyond the arc or setting up teammates with sharp, timely passes. Her vision and decision-making make her a key piece of Portland’s offense, and her scoring ability stretches defenses the moment she steps across half court. Expect her to play a major role in keeping Portland’s tournament run on track tonight and again Friday as the team chases a District title.

“Senior Guard 5’8 – 4th year on varsity- All-Conference 3 years, All-State Honorable Mention: Lilly is a big time playmaker for us on both sides of the ball. She loves to push the pace and can get to the rim in a hurry or knock down the outside shot. Lilly also has the ability to cause problems on defense with her length and her ability to run through passing lanes.” – Coach Haid

Lilly is the kind of player every coach wants on the floor – a true playmaker who makes things happen on both ends. She has deep range and consistently knocks down shots from beyond the arc, but she’s just as impactful on defense, where she plays with intensity and awareness. This spring and summer, she’ll be suiting up with Always 100, and she’s riding high after being named Second Team All-State – a well-deserved honor for one of the most well-rounded guards in the game.

Lilly came out guns blazing in the first half for Portland drilling three triples, and added two free throws to lead all scorers with 11 in the first half. Lilly has college range, but it was her all-around impact that caught my attention. Lilly battled to gain the advantage for rebounds, hit the deck to secure a steal, and pushed the ball in transition to earn free throws. One of her highlight moments was when she gave her team an extra possession by sprinting to throw a loose ball off a bystander opponent going out of bounds. Lilly grabbed steals on defense, threw an impressive lob-entry pass over the defense to a teammate for an assist, and hit the game-winning free throw. She scored 13 points for the Raiders and her determination helped Portland secure a huge first win.
