Ledford got stronger as the game went on especially in Buford’s full court pressure defense where she came up with numerous steals and converted the easy two herself or found an open teammate. Ledford is an excellent shooter but did most of her work in the paint in this game. She was very effective driving to the middle and shooting over her defender after a head fake and equally as good pushing the ball in transition beating her defender down the floor. She scored several uncontested layups on the fast break. She took over the game in the second half for the Wolves.
