Smith is also “long and athletic” and her timing to block, alter, and (or) deflect shots is what sold me a couple of years ago. She too does a good job playing the passing lane as well as applying “on the ball” pressure baseline to baseline yet she hit the boards hard, on both ends, scored off the dribble and around the basket, putbacks included, and did a good job defending inside the paint
