Played with confidence and showed grit in her game despite Eisenhower being down double digits all game. As a sophomore, Mallori and the Eisenhower Lady Tigers have something going for them next year.

Rose is the Tigers’ clear floor leader. Athletic with strong handles she scored at all three levels, including hitting a pair of three-balls with range, and was effective at creating opportunities for her team in open and half court. To get to the charity stripe she intentionally drew contact on bad shots. On the other end her quickness and smarts put her in situations where she could challenge and block shots without fouling.

Rose and the Tigers are off to a 3-2 start. And while both losses have been double-digit ones to 5A top 5 teams the team is one to watch and Rose is a big reason why. The young point guard has shot 47% from three point land and sports a strong 2.8 assists-to-turnover ratio. She anticipates action and reads play development on both ends well. Off the catch-and-step and especially off the stop-and-pop she shoots it quickly from everywhere. With solid speed and handles she will be one to watch.

A Class of 2028 prospect, Rose has already made a name for herself with her ability to consistently knock down three-pointers — especially from the corner, where she’s nearly automatic. She has smooth release on her shot, gets her feet set well, and shot preparation that make her a constant threat from deep. Defensively, she is just as impactful. She has a knack for creating turnovers, whether by reading passing lanes or applying on-ball pressure, and often converts those takeaways into scoring opportunities.
