As a top 15 prospect in the Class of 2027 it’s obvious that Sexton has the size, strength and skill to compete at the Division 1 level in college. When she’s on her game, the big power forward can dominate. On Sunday she stood tall against other top posts and delivered an impressive game-winning basket through heavy traffic in the final seconds. Sexton scores consistently with either hand over the rim, rebounds with tenacity, and uses her power effectively in the paint. Mariah, who is now at Maple Grove, played relaxed and confident at the Expo and the results spoke volumes.
