The #8 ranked prospect in the 2027 class, Bjorklund was totally dominant on Sunday. Standing at 6’1, her sheer size and strength was overwhelming for most defenders. When combined with her mobility, quick feet, and athleticism, there wasn’t much anyone could do to stop the Division 1 commit (University of North Dakota). Addison went to work in the paint, showing off her wide array of post moves. Using her physicality to her advantage, the Brainerd junior was also highly effective on the defensive end. Following an outstanding AAU season with the Minnesota Stars , Bjorklund is gearing up for a monstrous junior year with the Warriors.

+2 – The 6’1 power forward from Brainerd is a poster child for the process of incremental improvement. Right from the get-go she has been considered a strong Division 1 prospect possessing the size, strength, skill and athleticism required to play at that level. What’s truly impressive is how Addy continues to get better bit by bit, step by step, week after week. Last week she became the second player in the class to commit when she verballed to the University of North Dakota. She rises two spots to #8.

If you read our piece earlier on Monday on the Sophomore ID Camp All-Showcase Team, then you already know that Addy lived up to her advance billing and more. That’s not surprising. Much has been expected from her since entering the high school realm as an oversized 7th grader with a lot of potential. Everything we anticipated from Addy is coming to fruition. She’s long and strong, mobile and athletic, with an advanced skill set, the drive to be great and exceptional basketball genetics. Bjorklund has been a varsity mainstay for a long time. She’s been a standout with Stars just as long. In due course, we think she’s going to do the same at the D1 collegiate level. Bottom line? Addy is the real deal.
