Anderson led her team to the Regional Finals last season. The Detroit Mercy commit averaged 12.3 PPG and 3.4 APG giving her a nod of the 2nd-team Associated Press All-State team. She will continue to run the show for her Detroit Cass Tech team this season, and I see a big Senior season in the making.

I’ve always been a huge fan of Anderson’s game and what she brings to the table. Her overall strength and athleticism are underrated. To the degree that I wouldn’t hesitate to call her one of the better all around athletes in the state. My biggest take away from the day may have been how well Anderson and

Trust me on this one, the more you really watch Anderson play, the more you come away really liking her game. Her overall physicality and strength are very underrated. Anderson had a 12 point game and a 15 point game, scoring tough buckets in both contests. She recognizes good shots and showed the ability to create them off the bounce.

We have her listed as a point guard, but Anderson can play on or off the ball with equal effectiveness. She can handle the ball and make very athletic moves to create space or get to the rim. Anderson is very strong with a physical profile that’s college ready. This allows her to finish with creativity and/or strength, whatever serves her best at a given time.
