Miya Giles-Jones Miya Giles-Jones 6'1" | SF Terry Sanford | 2023 State NC has been an incredibly versatile athlete in her high school career.  She has played all five positions from handling the ball to posting up inside.  She uses her quickness and ball moves to score anywhere on the court, and she crashes the boards using her strength to get rebounds.  She’s a dominant presence on the defensive side of the ball being able to strip the ball from guards dribbling or protect the basket from the paint.

Miya has the size and athleticism ready for the next level. She is a straight-line driver and when she gets into the paint she shoots it at a high percentage while giving you multiple opportunities at the rim. She can rebound and start the break as she excels in transition. She used that size and athleticism rounding up 15 rebounds shooting 8-19 from the floor giving her team 27 points around the rim and the free-throw line. As she continues to add to her game on the perimeter she is going to be a dangerous inside and out threat. Northeastern University is getting a good one for the next four years.

With her eyes on Boston, Miya Giles-Jones Miya Giles-Jones 6'1" | SF Terry Sanford | 2023 State NC is heading to Northeastern.  Her entire high school career, she has had the eyes of everyone in the gym as she can do a little bit of everything.  She can body someone on the block using power dribbles to have her way and move people out of the paint for rebounds.  Her pull up jumper elevates over her opponents and goes in from anywhere, or she can take it to the house all on her own.  She handles the ball well using fakes to create space and find her open teammates for their own points.

Miya Giles-Jones Miya Giles-Jones 6'1" | SF Terry Sanford | 2023 State NC (featured photo) has been well known throughout the state because of her versatility on the court and athleticism that help her be successful no matter who she is going against.  She can guard any position on the court not being scared to body someone in the post or keep up with quick guards trying to get around her.  She handles the ball well knowing how to fake out her opponents creating space between her and her defender, and she is a three level scorer being a threat all over the court.  Her length is an asset on both ends of the court being able to block shots, jump into passing lanes, and shoot over her opponents.
