Expert Analysis
Evan Bell | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Quinn was the Michigan newcomer of the day at Hope Elite Camp. She made a loud statement about her value as a next-level prospect. Quinn has a compact build and advanced ball-handling skills that translate to the college game. She set the standard for control, speed, fluidity, and effort during the between-the-legs, lift, dribble series. The word I used to describe her handles was “cat-like quickness”. It looked like she could do the drill with her eyes closed. Her finesse at the rim during stretch finishes was among the best, and she created space in games using a quick, double-tap low crossover dribble. Quinn made a good read off the ball, cutting to the rim for a catch and finish. She’s an effective facilitator and guards her yard well, moving laterally and using her strong frame to deter drives towards the basket.
