About Quinn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

On offense, I work best out of the pick & roll and catch & shoot 3s. I love to pass and set up my teammates, especially on outlets to get the ball quickly up the court. The pick & roll allows me to get into my midrange game. On defense, I jump in the passing lanes and work hard while guarding the ball.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is to always learn something from every game/practice/showcase/etc. If that means learning something I have to improve in my game or picking up a move from somebody else, I want to always be learning.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

At school, I am a part of the Hispanic and Latinx Organization as well as the Student Athletic Advisory Council.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Being the starting point guard on Greenhills' varsity team as a freshman made me learn leadership skills very quickly. I had to figure out how to fit into a team of people who had been playing together for at least a year and figure out how to do it successfully. I also have helped train our middle school basketball teams. It's fun teaching things I've figured out to kids just starting out.

What type of college are you looking for?

A school with good business or engineering (those are my top picks for an undergrad major) but also good sciences. I want to be somewhere where I'm wanted as a player and has the team act as a family.
