Mya turned in a monster sophomore season for Baraga that helped make them one of the U.P’s best teams. She produced 13 double-doubles and is on pace to eclipse 1,000 career rebounds. Mya averaged 15 points (50% FG%) and 11.4 rebounds per game, with over 113 of those rebounds coming on the offensive end. She has the versatility to defend guards and forwards. Her length, quickness, competitiveness, toughness, strength, and skill set have resulted in a top 100 ranking. Mya received recognition as a PGH Sophomore Player of the Year Finalist.

Mya is putting together an impressive sophomore season for Baraga, establishing herself as one of the most reliable forwards in the area. She’s consistently filling the stat sheet with double-digit performances, showing a strong feel for tracking the ball off the glass and attacking rebounds with purpose. Around the basket, Mya has been tough to stop, converting with either hand and powering through defenders to finish plays in traffic. Her combination of physicality, instincts, and production has made her a key piece for Baraga and a player whose impact continues to grow each game.

Mya is a tough forward prospect who gives the Vikings an edge inside. She muscled her way into position to corral several rebounds on both ends of the court and created steals. Mya fought for an offensive rebound and dished a pass out to a perimeter shooter for the assist. She was extremely effective at driving downhill against the opponent’s forwards. Mya caught a pass in the high post and blew by her defender to score a contested layup. She caught another pass in the high post and used a spin dribble step through to score a contested layup off the glass. Mya finished the game against Lake Linden-Hubbell with 10 points.
