She brings a strong work ethic and a versatile offensive skill set—attacking the rim to draw fouls, knocking down shots, and finding multiple ways to score. Her hard work has already started to pay off, as she recently picked up an offer from Missouri Western, a highly successful Division II program, with more interest expected to follow. Winston also stands out for her decision-making on the floor, showing poise and control in high-pressure situations. What makes her addition so exciting for North Central is not only her leadership and experience, but also the winning qualities she instills in those around her. She’s set to make a major impact this year while leaving a lasting mark on the program for years to come.

Like Butler (above), Naja moves from State Champion Lawrence North to a new school. She will suit up now for the new-look Lady Panthers and could very well be a focal point of their offense as a Senior. Naja is a talented run-and-jump athlete, she defends & rebounds with some versatility, and she has shown a really nice mid-post game offensively. Her perimeter shot and handle have improved, but she’s still most dominant inside of 15-feet.

Naja has always been a very athletic prospect with a great deal of upside. She is a nice run-and-jump athlete, she plays with a good motor, and she’s able to make plays at all three levels. She has improved her shooting, but she is probably still most comfortable in the mid-post. She is an active rebounder, plus she is a willing and capable defender. She should draw a varied amount of interest this Spring.
