Expert Analysis
Brandon Bradley | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Nina is always a fun watch, and she uses the combination of quickness, speed, good ball skill, and the ability to separate off the dribble to create offense for herself and teammates. She can lull a defender to sleep with the dribble, pull back and knock down a 25-footer comfortably. She can also make a similar move, hesitate to get them off-balance, then go by. Defensively, she does a nice job of using her quickness to contain opposing ball-handlers, plus she has quick hands and can create deflections/steals. The fact she remains uncommitted is a little surprising, because she is a playmaker.

It’s always enjoyable watching Nina play because of not only her abilities, but also her intensity on both sides of the ball. What stands out most about her game is how valuable she is to what North Central runs offensively. As a point guard, she controls the pace, makes sound decisions, and applies constant pressure as both a shooter and a driver who can get to the rim.
It was especially good to see her on the floor alongside

The senior point guard has been instrumental in helping shift the winning culture for her team, and she continues to take all the right steps in her leadership role. She brings an undeniable energy every time she steps on the floor—whether it’s attacking the rim, knocking down a buzzer-beater, or making hustle plays on the defensive end.
In a highly competitive matchup against Attucks, she finished with 15 points, showing her ability to both run the offense and score out of it—something that isn’t easy for most point guards. Her balance of playmaking and scoring keeps defenses honest and makes her one of the tougher guards to prepare for.
She’s a player worth keeping an eye on and one you must have a gameplan ready for, because her motor, confidence, and overall impact continue to elevate her team every single night.

Nina is a tough-nosed, hard-working little guard with some strength, plus speed & quickness. She had a couple of really nice games way back at the Shamrock Classic, as she caught fire and used her quick trigger to launch 3-pointer after 3-pointer from about 25-feet. She likes to dart through gaps in traffic, and she can collapse defenses in the half-court. But it’s her ability to get shots away quickly, and with range, that will draw her attention.
