Amos’ performance on Sunday demonstrated a fair bit of potential. At 5’9, the Minnesota Heat guard brought plenty of size to the backcourt for Team 11. While she wasn’t the quickest player in the gym, she continuously found ways to keep the offense moving, whether through backdoor cuts or screens on the ball. When the ball was in her hands Natalie was eager to look for her shot. The Roseville sophomore didn’t hesitate to let the ball fly from the perimeter, but also wasn’t afraid to get downhill and lean into contact at the rim. With multiple graduations freeing up some room on the roster, Amos will have plenty of opportunity to make her way into the Raiders’ rotation this season.
