McGriff is a versatile forward with size, strength, and a physical edge. She opened the Sophomore ID Camp on Sunday morning with a smooth three-pointer, showing off her expanded skill set. McGriff quickly followed up by scoring inside and rebounding with force. Confident and vocal, McGriff averaged 12 points and 7 rebounds in high school last season over a tough 4A schedule. Kiyanah’s steady growth since we first saw her way back in 2023 reflects her work ethic and potential as a Top 50 sophomore.

If you saw our list of 10 top performers following the Showcase then you already know that McGriff had a great day. She certainly looks ready for a productive high school season, as well. Her size, strength and physical presence should fit right in with the Roseville varsity for whom she made eight appearances last year. Kiyanah is assertive, she is aggressive, and she plays with a bit of an edge. She’s also got skill with the ability to make shots and score down low. From the time we first saw McGriff at the Fall Exclusive in 2023 to last Sunday, the growth in her game is palpable. She’s vocal, confident and is poised for a breakout season.
