How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Nayana Harper is a 5'11" shooting guard/wing with a high basketball IQ and confident, efficient play. She’s a 3-point spot-up shooter and midrange threat who reads the floor well, makes smart passes, and can score or facilitate as needed. Defensively, her length and hustle lead to blocks, steals, and deflections—making her a key two-way contributor from the jump.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Nayana is competitive, calm under pressure, and deeply focused. She leads by example, stays composed in big moments, and brings a strong, team-first mindset with the drive to keep improving.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

She trains year-round with a personal basketball trainer. As an honors student with a 4.5 GPA, her time is focused on athletics and academics, but she’s exploring more ways to stay involved and enjoys volunteer work when time permits.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

A former middle school captain and current varsity starter, Nayana earned Rookie of the Year and team MVP as a freshman. She leads with work ethic, communicates well, and uplifts those around her.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Jumping to varsity as a freshman pushed her to adjust quickly, but she embraced the challenge and earned her spot. Balancing a tough course load and basketball taught her discipline and time management.

What type of college are you looking for?

Nayana is open to any D1 program with strong coaching, player development, and team culture. She’s looking for the right fit—on and off the court—to grow as an athlete and student.
