She played her first game for Big Rapids on Monday and scored a game-high 13 points, helping her team earn an opening night victory. Nuray caused turnovers on defense at the top of the diamond with her pressure and scored several transition layups on run-outs. Nuray caused a foul by leaping up to secure consecutive offensive rebounds and split defenders with her dribble to score a speedy layup. Her highlight reel play happened when she froze her defender with a hesitation dribble, accelerated by, and then used a high pick-up move to elevate way up to score a contested layup. Nuray excited the crowd with her athleticism and she is off to a great start for the Cardinals.
