Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
Aggressive defensively, unselfish, and uptempo. Looking to score within the flow of the game while also getting my teammates involved. Making plays on both ends of the floor however necessary.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
Relentless. Well composed under pressure. Willing to take criticism and learn from my mistakes. Competitive. Tough and gritty.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
Basketball is a huge part of my life.
I spend free time in the gym working on my game.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I have developed leadership qualities as a starting varsity point guard since my freshman year in HS. I have learned the importance of accountability and learning how to play with different players and learn new systems. As a point guard you have to know where players are and command the floor. Lead by example and verbally.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
My size makes me have to work harder.
So learning how to navigate through the taller players and adjust my shot or my path to the basket can be challenging at times. But obviously i am continuing to work on that part of my game.
What type of college are you looking for?
A college that has a good Physical Therapy program. A college that can prepare me for life after basketball. A college that has a good coach who challenges me to be a better person on the court and off.
