Hudson has a long tradition of producing great rebounders and Gretchen is a prime example of that! A beast, on the boards, she outworked the opposition tallying several offensive rebound putbacks in each game. Solid down low, Gretchen also was strong in owning the defensive glass.
Whitten is a product of Hudson who competed with Legacy Hoops over the summer months. At the expo, she shined her brightest when looking to free up teammates and used her height to create chaos on the defensive end. She set timely screens and made herself available in short roll and rim running opportunities. She really impressed with her decision making when playing with the advantage in the half court. Her ability to operate as a secondary handler and in the high post made her a standout for team 10. Keep an eye out for her this coming season.
