I’ll be in attendance to see Payton Palmer Payton Palmer 5'10" | CG Elkhorn North | 2028 State NE compete this weekend with her Omaha Supreme program. Palmer has been a standout for a few years now on the AAU scene with this program. She is one of her team’s best prospects with a balanced skill set. Offensively, she isn’t afraid to attack directly into her opponents body, she understands how to get to her spots, and she has a beautiful shot form. Defensively, she can get up and pressure or she can sit back and wait for the opposition to bring the ball to her. Palmer competes hard and plays the game of basketball the right way. That will always making her lethal when she is competing with other talented hoopers.

Payton Palmer Payton Palmer 5'10" | CG Elkhorn North | 2028 State NE is coming off of an AAU season to remember with her Omaha Supreme Basketball program and she is looking to keep things rolling at Elkhorn North. Palmer is an athlete who competes at the 2, 3, or 4 position whenever she is out on the court. With her versatility she can be moved to really anywhere that the coaches need. Defensively, her athletic ability along with her reach at 5’10 make her annoying and scrappy. Not sure if Palmer gets the Varsity call up right away this Winter but either way, she is going to be someone that should have a nice four years ahead of herself on the high school floor.

Payton Palmer Payton Palmer 5'10" | CG Elkhorn North | 2028 State NE is going to turn some heads this Winter on the high school floor with her mixture of length, athleticism, and wherewithal of the strategic part of the game. Palmer is coming off of an AAU season to remember with her Omaha Supreme Basketball program, being a standout in basically every contest or every other contest that they competed in throughout their Spring and Summer. Elkhorn North is going to bring back a powerful group with a lot of opportunities available to see some minutes at the Varsity level this next eight months. They had transfers, they had some upperclassmen turnover due to prospects graduate, so it really comes down to the game plan they put in place prior to their first games coming up in November.

Payton Palmer Payton Palmer 5'10" | CG Elkhorn North | 2028 State NE is one of the more interesting prospects out of this 2028 Class and that is because of her future potential/ceiling. Palmer already stands at 5’10, she has a smart head on her shoulders, and a lot of athleticism. When you combined those three things together, as long as she stays motivated, it should lead for a recipe of success at Elkhorn North over her next four seasons. This is someone that is going to be considered to be a top rated prospect out of her Class as long as she stays on her current path. She demonstrates a lot of intangibles out on the floor when competing and that is only going to help her in the long run. She has been putting together a productive AAU season with her Omaha Supreme program, she just has to keep this momentum up, moving into the Fall/Winter seasons later this year.
