The #3 rated Shooting Guard out of this 2027 Class is

of Elkhorn North. Bratt’s been on Varsity for a few years now because of her ability to get hot from the outside. Over-time she has added onto that ability and really rounded out her game in a few other places. Her handle is efficient, she keeps it simple, and she plays off of what the defense gives her ultimately. Offensively, she can either take things off the dribble or she can let it fly. She moves well without the ball so her opportunities don’t take a long time. They happen quickly but they can be very impactful. There is a lot of room for Bratt to grow but with that being said, she is a solid player right now, who will be playing at the college level someday soon.

Another individual that was invited to the Grand View Showcase was
Addison Bratt

of Elkhorn North. Bratt is a 5’11 SG, that has been a Varsity player for a handful of seasons now ever since she was a freshman. Bratt is the definition of a shooter and that was on full display in-front of the Grand View staff in this one. When I mean shooter, I really mean someone that you can create your offense around because of how quick, smooth, and efficient her jumper really is. Other than that, Bratt does possess the ability to put the ball on the floor for a simple look herself in the midrange or she can take it closer to the bucket and find an open teammate for a nifty assist. She can also move around and screen or work off her cutting motion to get simple looks when the defense falls asleep or just isn’t paying attention. This is someone that might not have any official offers yet but that all changes this Spring/Summer on the road.

Another interesting individual, that has size, a better than average shooting ability, and a smart type of play-style is

of Elkhorn North. North is going to be looking for new producers this Winter. If they want to win, it’ll be by committee with the possibilities of a number of different players going off on any given evening. If Bratt is set in a system where she can show off her best ability, she is going to do really well. As a Freshman, she was someone to know out of this Class and program. That doesn’t change. We are talking about a nearly 6’0 SG, that has some athletic ability and she makes good choices that aren’t going to hurt you as a program or coach. That’s all you can ask for and so I wouldn’t be shocked if Bratt becomes a hot commodity in the recruiting world over these next few years.

displayed last season with her Elkhorn North team was a mix of promise, potential, and a noteworthy athletic ability. Bratt competes out of the 2 position and she usually has size on whoever is matching up with her as well. Giving her another reason as to why I think she is going to have a big Sophomore season ahead. Elkhorn North will have some turnover but I think Bratt comes into play a big role this Winter. With her natural ability and the system’s that this coaching staff runs, it would make sense if they made some waves come Playoff time but we will just have to wait and see what unfolds.

15U team last week so it comes to no surprise to myself that this group put together another solid weekend in Kansas City. Bratt is someone that is years above her age level in skill on the basketball court. She has fantastic size and demeanor with the basketball in her hands. Both of those things were on displays this weekend and working at a high rate in her teams contests. Bratt is someone that saw the Varsity floor as a Freshman this past winter, playing meaningful minutes with her time on the court. This weekend she did more of the usual and she was killing her personal matchup at a high rate, while also being someone who was willing to pass when things opened up for her fellow teammates. It’s scary to say but I think that her best basketball is still in front of her. She has been fantastic up until this point in her career but if she keeps expanding her skill-set, she is going to be someone we talk about a lot more moving forward.

. Bratt is coming off of an impressive season at the high school levels and she is looking to build on that moving forward. This is another individual that can handle herself or her opponent inside the lane at an efficient rate. If she is put in situations with her back to the basket or to play to her strengths, she should EAT this AAU season by all of my accounts. She is going to be a tough prospect to guard in 1v1 matchups and she seems to always make the simple play. When you put those two things together, you usually see a lot of success.
