Garrett Eaton | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Long limbed uber athlete, disruptive at the top of their zone press. Moves without the ball well, has good change of direction moves and can score with contact once she gets. Talented shot blocker with elite athleticism. Ceiling is through the roof for Braggs.

Braggs had an outstanding weekend in Phoenix, including clutch shooting in the battle against Drive Nation. She drained a DEEP three at the end of regulation to force overtime. Has clearly been putting in time on her handle and footwork. Routinely hitting threes and midrange jumpers off the dribble. Around the rim, she’s able to use pump fakes, jab steps and pivots to juke out defenders. Still has some area of improvements with turnovers, including the occasional double dribble. Overall it was a stellar weekend for the Choctaw Yellowjacket. Who finished her high school season strongly and is now establishing herself as one of the best 2029 prospects in Oklahoma.

A strong close to Braggs’ freshman season featured a 14 point and 8 rebound game in the Class 6A quarterfinals. After showing perimeter promise during earlier games, she was a problem off the bounce. Has good quickness and is starting to look smoother off the bounce. Especially with her spin move.
In that game quarterfinal contest, she also went an impressive 8 of 8 from the free throw line. While also making athletic rebounds, saves and blocks. The potential is there for Braggs to mature into of the best two way players in Oklahoma.

The freshman is starting to make her mark in the rotation for a potential Class 6A State Tournament team. Even drawing a start in last Thursday’s win over Westmooore. A plus wingspan allows her to play taller their height on the defensive end for a smaller Choctaw team that needs her to do just that. She helps to contest shots at the rim and with rebounding. Good foundational impact for a promising freshman. Especially as she can knock down open jumpers as well.

A very talented incoming freshman for the Lady Jackets that saw major minutes this summer at the varsity level. Athletic guard that can play the point guard position as well as the 2-guard spot. Best in the open floor game where she can use her athletic speed and change of direction with the ball to weave towards the basket.
Peyton athletic style and pressure defense could earn her a starting spot on a very good Lady Jacket team. When watching her school team this summer she started. Either way she brings a good athletic up-tempo guard to the team.

Lighting quick player off the dribble that can get paint touches making things happen. Strong on the ball pressure as well as defending passing lanes will be a great addition to Lady Jackets’ defense philosophy this season. Got the opportunity to watch her play at OBU and Peyton got plenty of playing time. Expect this young lady to be a big part of the Lady Jacket program as they look to be more up-tempo this season.
