About Railey
Expert Analysis

Combo guard that finds ways to score whether it is a 3-point shot or a downhill layup. Railey has transferred this season to the Oklahoma Flames. The combo guard is scrappy and usually in the mix when it comes down to winning a 5050 ball. Great size for a guard that has the handles to play point guard at times. Nice vision on the drives that finds the one shot for the kick out jumper.
An impressive summer on the circuit has 2020 ready for a breakout season for the Flames.

Behrens is a slasher who thrives attacking the lane, she consistently puts pressure on the defense. Once inside, she shows patience with her footwork, using pivots and convincing ball fakes to create space. That craftiness allows her to generate her own shot in tight coverage.

Behrens has caught the attention of contributors from all over the PGH network. She’s a scoring wing, with a quality all around game. Helps out on the glass and also understanding defensive principles. Has a mid-range game and also capable of attacking the rim. A strong spring and has potential to continue to rise, especially with her potential as a scorer.

Behrens showed how effective her deceptive first step was throughout the tournament, as she understands how to get the defender off balance so she can score off the dribble. She also did a good job not only creating her shot but creating spacing to get it off and drop it with a hand in her face. She saw the floor both in the set as well as in the open court and did a good job defensively

First let me say I am glad this young lady wears knee pads because she is consistently moving on the floor. The knee pads made it easier to track her on film. Nice size for a small forward that can play defense on the wing of a 3-2 and is physical enough to play the bottom of the 2-3. Of offense she is always moving without the ball either with curls or relocating for the outside shot. What stood out was how she always seemed to be the gap space on the drive giving the ball handler an option to pass too. A good rebounder on both ends scoring on several putbacks on the offensive end. Handles the ball enough to get a rebound and push the tempo. A very scrappy player that scores without plays ran for her that rebounds the ball are things you like at the small forward position,

Behrens was productive in multiple games, including a 19 point performance against a tough Houston Queens squad. In the games watched, she did a lot of her damage in the mid-range and as a driver. Crafty enough to draw fouls and hit contested shots at the rim. While also finding the pockets and openings to knock down shots in the midrange. Seems to simply have the feel to “get buckets”
