rnChappell shot the ball very well during the Deep South classic. She’s always had a very quick release and smooth jump shot and can shoot it from anywhere on the court. Her mid-range jumper is as smooth as they come and she often hits that one in transition. Chappell consistently knocked down three-pointers and when the defense closed out, Chappell ripped into some beautiful midrange shots. Chappell’s defense was also impressive to see. She did a good job of playing the passing lanes and getting her hands on the ball and deflecting it and creating turnovers. Chappell played great on ball defense as well. She got after it on the defensive end and played well in transition. She showcased some good passing skills and really did a good job of advancing the ball to open teammates.
