Simmons is a gamechanger and a playmaker. A player that has one of the quickest releases and by far one of the best shooters I saw in the month of May. She knows how to also create her own shot of the dribble and can score at the rim. A player that has to be guarded 94ft and the only way to stop her is to keep the ball out of her hands. A player not afraid to play both ends of the floor but moves well without the ball in her hands. Exciting player to watch.

Simmons is a game changer. I watched her hit shot after shot from behind the arc. Always moving without the basketball and knowing when to shoot the 3 ball and when to drive. A player whose range starts as soon as she steps on the floor and if you give her too much space, she can consistently shoot it from deep. Her quick release allows her to get her shot off quickly. A player with a lot of different scoring tools in her bag. Exciting player to watch.

Riley had the ultimate green light this weekend. The 6-foot forward cashed in on five three-pointers, finishing with 19 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals. Simmons loves to catch on the perimeter and either step-back or sidestep her way for three-point looks. With her size, her shot can be difficult for defenders to contest. In the second half against NME, Riley sank four threes to lead the comeback and impressed with her ability to put the ball on the floor and make plays for others. Belmont Abbey tracked Wood Elite all day on Sunday. Simmons is moving up recruiting boards.

Simmons is a player you must guard as soon as she steps on the floor. High IQ combo player that knows how to score at any given moment. Her quick release catches her opponents off guard, and she knows how to consistently knock down the 3. She also showed her ability to attack the rim off the dribble. She creates matchup problems with her size as she can score over the smaller guards and is too quick for most post players. High IQ which allows her to read the defense. A college ready player that will have numerous offers by the end of the summer.

. At 6-foot with size, strength and a knockdown three-point shot, she is a valuable piece that can used in a variety of ways. She can pick-and-pop to stretch the floor or she can get on the low block and score around the rim, especially on offensive rebounds. Riley’s ball handling has improved as well, giving her another avenue to score. When Simmons is clicking, there aren’t many stretch-fours better in Georgia.

A premier stretch-four in the 2024 class, Riley is a mismatch. Her strength and size cause issues in the paint as she crashes the offensive glass and will keep the ball high on finishes, scoring through contact. If a big is guarding her, Simmons can stretch the floor and pull them out to the perimeter where she is a great three-point shooter. Riley has steadily been adding to her off the dribble game and will take defenders to the basket using strong spin moves to free herself.

Up from No. 44Simmons’ stock is on the move after being inserted into the starting lineup as a junior. Riley holds value in many different areas. She’s a strong, sturdy 6-foot, capable of banging down low for rebounds and scoring on putbacks. Where Riley really separates herself is with her shooting touch. She is a knockdown three-point shooter that has also improved her off the dribble game. Simmons is blossoming into a real three-level scorer, becoming more than just a premier stretch-four, but holding upside as a possible full-time wing. Riley should be high atop D-II wish lists and could possibly find herself on D-I radars with a strong summer.

Riley showed some true post moves which surprised me for the bigger wing. There was a segment where her coach demanded that she receive the entry pass and she scored on three consecutive possessions against a center with great size at the event. She followed it up with a strong rebound and push in transition before flipping it back to a guard for an open three. She has the skill and IQ and is a deep ball threat.

is in line for a major role increase. She already has covetable size at the college level, standing close to 6-feet tall with strength. Simmons’ greatest skill is her shooting. Riley is a deadly three-point shooter that can catch fire when left open. She also does a good job crashing the glass, scoring on putbacks. Riley can be a real mismatch.
