#99 – Much like Niederhiser, the 5’11 Ismail has the height and wingspan that give her an edge from the get-go. Safa has invested time and effort to develop a box of tools to match. At the Sophomore ID Camp she made an immediate impression in 3 x 3 play, showing off the development she has done and progress that has been made. Safa is versatile, with the ability to excel as a guard or small forward. Last season she contributed her fair share on varsity, but now that a half dozen seniors have graduated there should be plenty of opportunity for Ismail to shine with the Blaze. We think she’s ready.
